She is a Bostonian who loves her community and is always giving back to others. She is a wife, mother of two, teacher, community activist, and entrepreneur. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Northeastern University and a Master of Education & Management from Cambridge College. In 2005, she founded the Garrett Pressley Autism Resource Center, GPARC a 501(c) 3 non-profit grassroots organization after her son, Garrett who was diagnosed with autism at the age of five.Deborah believes that all youth should have opportunities to succeed academically and socially with a sense of purpose and community connection. And furthermore, believes that all families have the right to quality programs and services in their pursuit of happiness.Hearing her journey will help you gain insight on how you can keep going despite what others think or have said about you.
